The totem necklace is fabricated by hand using tiny pieces of gold and silver that are cut and soldered to a sterling silver base. Precious gemstones are also set by hand after the piece is made and cleaned up for an even finish.

The pendant base is 1.5" long and the pendant is a total of 1.75 inches long including the bail. Comes on an 18 inch sterling silver cable chain with the artist's tag attached at the clasp.
 
Shown with a natural 4mm round, faceted swiss blue topaz and a natural 2mm round, faceted AA grade sapphire. The blue topaz is bezel set in 14ky gold, and the sapphire is flush set in silver.
