Fabricated by hand using sterling silver rectangle wire that is cut, stamped, bent, soldered, hammered, filed, and polished to form the ring shank. A gap is cut in the ring shank to fit a setting for the stone. A piece of 14ky gold tubing is cut and soldered into the gap. A couple pieces of 14ky gold are melted into tiny spheres and soldered to the ring shank on either side of the tube setting. The fine silver is raised to the surface to help prevent tarnishing and the stone is bezel set. The piece is brought up to a glossy finish.
 
Ring shank is 4mm wide and 2mm thick. 
 
Amethyst is a natural 4mm round, faceted stone.
