Very contemporary and classy handcrafted Opal ring with Garnets.
 
 Fabricated by hand using sterling silver sheet that is cut, stamped, bent, soldered and polished to form the ring shank. A piece of 14ky gold bezel wire is shaped into an oval setting and soldered to the center of the ring. Pieces of sterling silver and 14ky gold are cut and soldered to either side in a symmetrical design. Holes are drilled where stones are to be set and the fine silver is raised to the surface to help prevent tarnishing. 
 
A natural 7x5mm oval AA grade opal cabochon is bezel set in the center and a total of four natural 2mm round faceted garnets are flush set on the ring before it is brought to a glossy finish.
 
Ring shank measures about 1/2" wide on the top and tapers down to about 1/8" at the bottom.
