This unique handcrafted ring is made with sterling silver, 14ky gold, an oval faceted paraiba quartz doublet and Emerald. Made by hand using sterling silver sheet that is cut, stamped, bent, soldered, hammered, and polished to form a ring shank. Pieces of 14ky bezel wire are shaped to the size of the stones and soldered to the ring shank along with tiny pieces of 14ky gold wire that have been cut and melted into a tiny ball. The gold balls are placed around the settings and soldered in place. Holes are drilled where the stones will be set and the piece is cleaned and polished up. The fine silver is raised to the surface to remove firescale and prevent tarnishing. The stones are set and the piece is brought to a glossy finish.
