Even as a youngster in Indiana, Laine Benthall enjoyed making jewelry for herself and for her Mom. With the help of a scholarship to swim, she graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2007 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts for Metals and Jewelry.
Shortly after graduation, Laine moved to Honolulu, Hawaii and worked as a bench jeweler for 18 months. After gaining some experience working in her field, Laine decided to move home to Indiana, and start her own jewelry business. After 5 years of hard work and perseverance, Laine was able to move her business to Honolulu, where she currently lives and fabricates her pieces.
She primarily uses gold and silver accentuated with precious & semi-precious stones and pearls. Her work can be described as contemporary and classy fine jewelry. Laine specializes in custom designs, lockets, weddings, mother, and birthstone jewelry.
